This Policy applies to all information collected through our websites at electriumsolar.com and app.electriumsolar.com (collectively, the “Platform”), as well as through any related communications, forms, or services.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
01 — INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide directly
When you interact with the Platform — whether through our intake form, client portal, scheduling tool, or payment flow — you may provide:
– Full name and contact information (email address, phone number)
– Property information (address, property type, ownership status)
– Energy profile data (monthly consumption, utility bill amount, peak demand)
– Payment and billing details (handled by our payment processor — we do not store card numbers)
– Electronic signatures on contracts and agreements
– Referral information submitted through the Stewardship Circle program
– Communications you send us via email or contact forms
– Voice recordings, transcripts, and conversation data when you interact with our AI voice assistant
Information generated through your use of the Platform
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
– Usage activity (pages visited, features accessed, time on page)
– Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, IP address)
– Session data through cookies and analytics tools
– Scheduling data generated when you book a call through our scheduling tool
Information from your installed system
Once your system is commissioned, your client portal may display performance data from your solar and battery installation. This data is sourced from your system’s monitoring platform and is used solely to support your service experience.
02 — HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
– To evaluate your inquiry and determine whether we can serve your property
– To generate and deliver your system proposal
– To process payments and manage billing through your client portal
– To execute and store contracts signed electronically
– To schedule and manage calls with our team
– To provide access to your client portal and maintain your account
– To administer the Stewardship Circle referral program
– To communicate with you about your project, your system, or your account
– To improve the Platform and our services
– To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
03 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND DISCLOSURE
Service providers we work with
We share information with third-party service providers as necessary to operate our services. Each is contractually bound by confidentiality obligations and, where applicable, data processing agreements with us. These providers include:
– Payment processor — handles all card transactions on our behalf. We receive only confirmation of payment. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials.
– Electronic signature platform — facilitates the execution of contracts and agreements. Signed documents are stored securely and accessible through your client portal.
– Scheduling platform — manages the booking of calls between prospective and current clients and our team.
– Client relationship management platform — supports account management and internal coordination of your project.
– Database infrastructure provider — hosts the secure backend systems that power the client portal.
– AI voice service provider — processes and transcribes voice interactions with our client service assistant to support service requests and inquiries.
We do not sell your data
Electrium Solar does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
Legal disclosure
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Electrium Solar, our clients, or others.
04 — COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site, improve performance, and maintain session state in the client portal.
You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain areas of the Platform, including the client portal.
We use analytics tools for aggregate, non-personally-identifiable traffic analysis. We do not use behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.
05 — DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain our client relationship, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Specifically:
– Intake form submissions from prospective clients who do not become clients are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
– Client account data, contracts, and proposal records are retained for the duration of your client relationship and for a minimum of 7 years thereafter, consistent with standard business recordkeeping requirements.
– Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial and tax regulations.
– System performance data displayed in your portal is retained for the life of your account.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@electriumsolar.com. Requests will be honored subject to any legal or contractual retention obligations.
06 — YOUR RIGHTS
Residents of Puerto Rico have rights under any applicable federal or local law. Depending on the nature of your relationship with us, you may have the right to:
– Request access to the personal information we hold about you
– Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
– Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
– Withdraw consent for any processing that is based on consent
– Lodge a complaint with an applicable regulatory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@electriumsolar.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
07 — DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls on the client portal, and reliance on security-certified third-party infrastructure for payment processing and database hosting.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights or interests, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
08 — CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
09 — CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this document. For material changes, we will notify current clients via email or through the client portal.
Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
10 — INTERNATIONAL USERS
Electrium Solar’s principal offices are located in Puerto Rico, United States. By accessing the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal information may be collected, processed, and stored in the United States, as described in this Policy.
If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Laws governing data protection and privacy vary across jurisdictions and may not provide the same level of protection as the laws of your country of residence.
Regardless of where your information is processed or stored, we apply the same security standards and data handling practices described in this Policy. Where we engage third-party service providers that process data outside of Puerto Rico, we require appropriate contractual safeguards to uphold the privacy and security principles set out here.
11 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COPYRIGHT
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, system proposals, financial models, design elements, and software — is the property of Electrium Solar LLC or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Nothing in this Policy or on the Platform grants you any right to reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content without the prior written consent of Electrium Solar LLC.
